How do I teach?
The most important thing for me is that you feel motivated and happy to play and learn. The lessons will therefore be adapted to your age, level and interests.
I generally teach a lot from sheet music, and I'm also happy to include music theory where relevant.
Every now and then I will also encourage us to learn some pieces just by ear and memory. I am also very open to including elements of composition and songwriting in the teaching if this is of interest.
I am interested in many different genres within both classical and rhythmic music, so in my teaching there will be the opportunity to learn about a lot of different music.

Where does the teaching take place?
I have a dedicated music room in my apartment on Theklavej in Copenhagen NV. There is both an electric piano and a whole lot of other musical equipment.
If you are interested in combining piano playing with singing and/or music production, there are also plenty of opportunities for that.
If you live in Copenhagen, the lessons can also take place at your home (for a transportation surcharge, depending on distance/travel time). Alternatively, we can also discuss the possibility of doing online lessons.

My background as a pianist and teacher
I am currently studying a Master's degree in Music Education at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory. In 2024 I completed my Bachelor's degree in Musicology at the University of Copenhagen, while at the same time working as a music teacher for grades 1-5 at St. Joseph's Sisters School.
I have sung in choirs and played piano since I was a child, and since then I have also learned to play a number of other instruments; including guitar, clarinet, saxophone, bagpipes.
Since I was in my early 20s, I have played concerts with the artists Kejser and Camma. Today I sing in and give concerts with the choir Karitas.
